bag1.jpg (52640 bytes)    These are made from lunch bags. Stamp images and fold top over. Punch holes and tie up with a bow.  On the holly bag I colored the stamp with markers, stamped and then colored in with the markers for more intense image.

bag2.jpg (63445 bytes)   These pocket cards are fun and easy, you could tuck almost anything in the pocket although I suggest a line of doublestick tape inside the pocket to hold items in place.  Take the piece of CS folded for the size of final card.  You can stamp the inside of the front or attach a piece of patterned paper as I did, you can stamp the upper 1/3 of the front or attach a strip of patterned paper to decorate the section above the pocket. Fold the corners into the middle and score the folds. Punch holes in the folded up corners and use ribbon to tie it shut.  You can stamp a decoration on the bottom corners that are exposed by folding up for the pocket.  Now you need to fill the pocket. You can stamp, color and cut out an image to glue in the pocket for added dimension as I did in the one on the bottom right.

bag3.jpg (43051 bytes)   Bag Topper, Cut CS the width you want for your bag top, it can be the same width or shorter or wider the the bag width.  Fold cut CS in half and score, lay over the top of the bag with the fold line at the top, mark with a pencil where the handles are. Cut out the opening for the handles by cutting down the pencil lines about 1/2 inch on each side and the across to meet and and make the opening.  Now it is up to you.  I stamped the image 3 times on white CS, embossed with gold and colored the image. I cut each one out, I sprayed one image with spray adhesive and then used Evo's Snow Mist glitter on it - the is the image on the topper. I trimmed the edges of the bag topper with scallop scissors and dipped the edges in a green inkpad.  I stamped the Merry Christmas across the top and added the gold ribbon along the bottom edge.  I attached the other 2 cutout images to the bag and slipped the topper on.  The last image on this page is the topper used on a printed gift bag.

bag4.jpg (28207 bytes)  This bag is similar to the one above, here I stamped and embossed an image in gold. I cut it out and attached it to a piece of decorative vellum and then attached to the glossy gold CS topper

I do find stamping directly onto the gift bags to have uncertain results.
