Take 2 sheets of foil and glue them together – dull or shiny side depends on look you want, you need double thickness.

Stamp image using permanent ink – you will need to help it dry with your heat gun.

Lay your stamped piece on a soft surface, a magazine or mousepad is fine

Take the stylus and trace the lines of the stamped image, do not press too hard as you can make a hole in the foil, you can flip it over to check your impression as you work.  It goes very easily and I did a few very detailed images.

inst4.jpg (87623 bytes) When you are please with your impressed image, you can enhance it with some color.
inst5.jpg (26819 bytes) You can also use inks to do this, I took a petalpoint and dabbed my finger in different colors and rubbed on the image.  You will have to do this a few times to get a lot of color and it does take a little while to dry – you can heat to speed it up.
inst6.jpg (47715 bytes) Lumiere paints dry very quickly, you can sponge or rub on with your finger or actually paint certain areas as I did with the butterfly
