The first way I played with these was to stamp on scrap paper and then cut out the inside of the stamped letter. I stamped my letter and then placed the stencil I made over it. Then I took a decorative stamp and stamped inside the stencil. On the Baby examples below I used word stamps, the pink one has Wonder and Dream stamped inside and the blue has the word Life (hard to see I know).

The Love on the left I stamped a rose image over my stencils and then drew a fine line inside the stencil shape, you can also stamp inside the stencil shape only, you need a fairly detailed stamp for it to work.  The Love on the right I stamped and embossed, then used the rose image again, cut out the letters and mounted on the red card front. When using that technique you can skip then stencil step when you over stamp the letter as the ink will not stay on the embossed lines.

Next I tried shrinky dinks! I stamped my letter on the shrink plastic and on the HI cards I overstamped a design. After the letters were shrunk I sprinkled clear EP over them and put back in the oven until the EP melted. You can use UTEE also and do multiple layers.

For BEAUTY I shrunk the letters and when cool I dabbed on chalk inks and then rubbed in some glitter

The other cards below are more shaker card examples - any interest in a class on these (they were easy and a lot of fun!)
